Was time for a change

After running so bad on the crypto 6paks I decided it was time to hop back to Pokerstars and for the past few days I've been playing the $110 6seaters on there....and killing them despite still running like an old banger. There is much more play in them and the game rarely descends into a crapshoot. Recently on crypto id been finding that virtually every game i played would be 3/4 handed with blinds at 200/400. If you are running well and winning the coin flips, 60/40s, 40/60s etc and picking up big hands then thats not a problem, however when you cant get a hand to hold up it can be a bit soul destroying...hence my earlier disillusioned post. I feel a lot happier with my game now and hopefully things will pick up in the coming weeks.

Waste of time

Decided to play the Dublin EPT sat on Stars........neednt have bothered. Was going along nicely with 5k when I raise to 325 in MP, muppet in BB calls and flop comes As7c7s. He checks and I bet 475 and he pushes for 3k. I insta call and he turns QQ and hits running spades for the flush. Total spastic!! To bew honest I expect it now, as soon as spade lands on turn I know I'm doomed as I run sooooooooooo bad. I then proceeded to tilt my last 2k away. Thank you and good night!

Disillusioned

OK apologies for the lack of updates but I have had nothing positive to write. I'm growing increasingly disillusioned with poker at the minute. A couple of months ago I thought my game was going places but recently it has gone backwards bigtime. I'm running bad, playing bad, have no confidence and tilting....a pretty lethal combination.

I'm not really sure where I go from here. Sixpaks are killing me and recently they have started boring the life out of me. I run so bad in them its not true and subsequently I end up tilting and playing like a clown. My multi form hasn't been any better either, although that probably has something to do with the fact I'm trying to win every one within the 1st hour and having an aversion to the fold button. First and foremost I need to get my game back on track and then take it from there. I know I can play this game its just that quite often I tend not to show it. I also think I need to get out and play more live events, so I will have to have a look at the tournament schedule and see what festivals are coming up.

I have a couple of days off planned as I'm off to Livorno to watch Rangers UEFA Cup match, However I have noticed Pokerstars have a last chance qualifier for the Dublin EPT and I'm tempted to play that (I've missed all the other qualifiers due to being busy every saturday night since they started lol) so might take the laptop with me and piss away $475 before I go and get drunk.
